CHRISTIAN VOTERS COALITION: CHRISTIAN VOTERS GUIDE CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT VETTING PROCESS: 

When the candidate fills out and sends back our Christian Voters Coalition: Christian Voters Guide- Candidate Endorsement Opportunity Form, this will start our candidate vetting process.

Our Christian Voters Coalition, Christian Voters Guide: Candidate Endorsement Opportunity Form is straight forward and covers a broad cross-section of issues that are of interest to pro-family voters, conservative voters, and Christian Evangelical voters. We will be using the endorsement application form, along with public statements, online research including other voter guides and endorsements, campaign materials as well as voting records (if any) to facilitate the production of our Christian Voters Coalition, Christian Voters Guide for the upcoming election.   

ALL candidates have the opportunity to fill out the candidate's specific Endorsement Opportunity Form listed above. Candidate Endorsement Opportunity submissions will be verified, including verification of the candidate's email address. ALL of the candidates for a race listed in a Christian Voters Coalition: Christian Voters Guide are emailed a Candidate Endorsement Opportunity Form and given equal opportunity to participate. The candidates email addresses are obtained from the authority responsible for the election such as the Secretary of State, or the email listed on the candidate's campaign website. Candidates are responsible for the email addresses posted on their websites and email addresses given to the election authority. 

After the initial email invite to fill out the Candidate Endorsement Opportunity Form, follow-up invitations are sent as well to try and obtain participation of all candidates in that race. The candidates are also able to download the forms listed above and email them to us for equal opportunity participation. In order to be considered for endorsement the candidate must return the Christian Voters Coalition: Christian Voters Guide: Candidate Endorsement Opportunity Form by the deadlines provided for that election. The candidate is responsible for the accuracy of their information. Ultimately it is the candidate’s choice to complete all steps within Christian Voters Coalition: Christian Voters Guide timelines that determines whether he/she will be considered for endorsement. Following the Christian Voters Coalition: Christian Voters Guide- vetting process, our vetting Committee makes the determine whether there will or will not be an endorsement in each race.
